A “serious” professor and her two clumsy assistants give life to the most salient moments and figures of Florence’s history, with costumes, objects and a great deal of surreal comedy. From the first Roman settlement to the birth of comunes, from the Rennaissance to Savonarola, from the Guelfs and the Ghibellines to Florence capital of Italy, we learn about the strengths and weaknesses of the important personalities linked to Florence: Charles the Great, Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Dante, Lorenzo the Magnificent, Galileo Galilei, up until the Twentieth Centuy and to today, with anecdotes, gags and live songs.

At the beginning it seems like a very professional and strict teacher is about to take students through a history lesson... but after just a few minutes, as if by magic, we see them appear: those important characters who made the small city of Florence great and unique; the cradle of Renaissance, example of perfect architectural harmony and symbol of style and beauty to the whole world. And there begins the show, 60 minutes at full speed; the perfect comedy style.
From Roman times to the Middle Age, here is Florence, which gave birth to Dante, ingenious creator of the Italian language, and then exiled him, the magnificent capital of the Renaissance, the city of Savonarola, the Florence which saw Leonardo and Michelangelo challenging each others with frescoes at the opposite sides of the Salone dei Cinquecento, the Florence of Galileo Galilei, and then finally the city which was submerged by its river's waters, the Florence of today, the Florence which belongs to us and to the whole world.
A witty, fast paced comedy with live music which aims to tells the story of this glorious city while having some fun. A group of three actors and a compelling use of videos lead this extraordinary and entertaining adventure... and all in English!
